Hydroponic Grow Rooms

!±8± Hydroponic Grow Rooms

Hydroponic grow rooms may sound immensely difficult to set up on your own, but the truth is, just about any novice can do it, provided that they're determined and have the proper instructions to start the project. Most hydroponic systems that are sold these days come with plug-and-play features, making it easy for beginners to grow their own hydroponic plants with little to no help at all.

Hydroponic kits are widely available these days, with some specifically designed for novice growers. The Internet is also a great resource for instructions and plans on how to build hydroponic systems, both small and large. Hydroponic grow rooms are essentially large hydroponic systems that can house a variety of hydroponic plants, working very much in the same way that greenhouses do.

In order for your plants to grow properly and stay healthy inside your hydroponic grow room; here are a few general requirements to take note of.

First things first, you'll need nutrients and oxygen. These are just two of the most important factors behind a healthy and growing plant. Hydroponic grow solutions complete with oxygen and nutrients are a dime a dozen these days, so you won't have trouble meeting this requirement. Simply mix the solution with water and you're good to go.

Next up is lighting. Seeing as how most hydroponic grow rooms are large and spacious, you'll need to have enough lighting to meet all of your plants needs. Don't worry about your plants not getting natural sunlight as special light fixtures are sold in gardening stores which mimic the effects of the sun's rays.

When it comes to hydroponic gardening, remember that the larger the space you keep your plants in, the more important it is to look after the ambient temperatures surrounding them. With the number of grow lights inside a hydroponic room, your plants might die from excessive heat. Setting up multiple fans will help ward off this problem. You can even set your fans up with a thermostat so that they activate when a certain temperature is reached.

Brand : LED Wholesalers | Rate : | Price : $199.99
Post Date : Dec 08, 2011 03:36:39 | Usually ships in 24 hours

This 600W hydroponics lighting system represents the best value grow light. Its advanced integrated electronic ballast supports both High Pressure Sodium (HPS) and Metal Halide (MH) bulbs, giving the grower the flexibility to choose the best selection simply by changing the bulb, instead of having to own two separate light systems.MH is used for accelerated vegetative growth, then switch to HPS to encourage flowering, fruiting and budding. Reasons to Choose Digital Electronic Ballast: ? Fast startup - reaches full brightness in less than 1/4 the time of most magnetic ballasts ? Completely silent - no more of the humming and buzzing ? Small, compact design - most electronic models weigh less than 10 pounds compared to 44 pounds for magnetic ballasts ? Longer bulb life - lumen output loss over time is dramatically less than with magnetic ballats ? Electronic ballast lights both MH and HPS lamps ? More lumen output - up to 20% more lumen output than regular ballasts ? Heat sink technology - no fans to break down and make noise; fan-cooled ballasts have a higher failure rate Features: ? Electronic ballast (600W) ? Includes one High Pressure Sodium (HPS) bulb (600W) and one Metal Halide (MH) bulb (600W) ? Electronic ballast works with both High Pressure Sodium (HPS) and Metal Halide (MH) bulbs ? Electronic ballast is UL listed, CE certified ? Two-year manufacture warranty on electronic ballast ? Quality light reflector ? Power cord included ? Lamp cord included ? Discreet packaging Light Fixture Specification: ? Fixture Size: 18.5-Inch x 15-Inch x 4.5-Inch ? Total Weight: 19 Lb

  • Hydroponic reflector grow light set
  • Rated voltage 120 volt /input current 5.30 ampere; works with both high pressure sodium-HPS and metal halide-MH bulbs
  • Frequency 50 hertz/60hertz / power factor > 0.99
  • Total luminous flux > 75, 000 lumens; frequency (hertz) 25 kilohertz - 100 kilohertz/loss of input watts < 10 percent
  • Harmonic distortion < 10 percent crest factor < 1.7

Getting Your Own LED Grow Lights Kits

!±8± Getting Your Own LED Grow Lights Kits

LED grow lights are all the rage now if you are interested in or already growing plants indoors. The reason behind this is the host of advantages that these grow lights have over other more conventional technology. In addition to this, the benefits of these lights are enhanced more and more every time there is a new breakthrough in the science behind it and they are made more effective than before, in every way possible.

There are many different types of LED lights available on the market today. It doesn't matter if you are just about to start panning out your interest in growing indoor plants for the first time or if you are a seasoned veteran in this field, there is something to suit the needs of everyone. If you want to build your own 12V grow light, then you can easily buy kits which are designed to help you do just that. Always go for a high quality product so that you can take advantage of all the great features of grow lights.

A good quality kit will use only 256 high brightness 5mm LEDs. It will also use up only 16 watts or 1.4 amps worth of electricity, and at the very least should come with a guaranteed life of up to 100,000 hours. This basically means a life of a minimum of fifteen years if used for 18 hours a day, every single day of the year. In connection to this, you should ask in advance where to get a replacement in the case that your LED burns out. A plus point would be if the grow lights worked with very little or no noise at all. Ideally the lights should measure 5.9x5.3x0.5 inches all around, and the home board on which they are to be mounted should have evenly spaced out holes on the outer dimensions to ensure uniform heating and light.

In the same way, you can get a 14 watt kit to set up your own 120V light. A good quality kit will be one that utilizes 272 high brightness 5 mm LEDs with 204 red ones and 68 blue ones. The dimensions should be in the proximity of 6x4.75x0.5 inches. Also go for a kit that has an active current regulation circuit. The reason for this is a greater control over the product than provided by resistors in all their capacity.

You can now also easily get 100 watt grow light kits from retailers, both online and off. Good product kits will feature Xlamp high power LEDs, with at least 40 red ones and 16 blue ones, and a minimum power delivery of 100 watts with never a power consumption of more than 125 watts. Always check to see what the lifetime of the LED grow light is said to be; ideally, there should be around 50,000 hours guaranteed. There should also an integrated power supply that doesn't need a ballast to work properly.
